Description
Delicious and guilt-free air fryer chicken tenders that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Oil spray for greasing
Instructions
1. Preheat: Heat the air fryer to 400°F.
2. Prep Breading Station: In one bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
3. Coat Chicken: Dredge each chicken strip first in the seasoned flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally, coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
4. Arrange & Spray: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the breaded chicken strips in a single layer (don’t overcrowd). Spray the tops of the strips with oil spray.
5. Cook: Air fry for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
6. Serve: Remove the air fryer chicken tenders, let them rest briefly, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven at 400°F for 5–7 minutes until hot and crispy.
