Irresistible Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers: Your Party’s New Favorite Snack

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large jalapeños
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoon sliced green onions
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.

2. Prepare Jalapeños: Slice the jalapeños lengthwise and remove the seeds and veins. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat.

3. Air Fry Jalapeños: Place the jalapeño halves in the air fryer basket and cook for 4 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes.

4. Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, green onions, and 1/2 cup of the shredded Colby Jack cheese until smooth.

5. Stuff Jalapeños: Fill each jalapeño half with the creamy cheese mixture. Top with the remaining Colby Jack cheese and chopped bacon.

6. Air Fry Poppers: Place the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve: Let the poppers cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these irresistible bites of heaven!

Notes

Choose the Right Jalapeños: Look for large, firm jalapeños with a bright green color. Avoid any that are wrinkled or discolored.

Adjust the Heat Level: If you prefer a milder flavor, remove more of the seeds and veins. For an extra kick, leave some of the seeds in.

Make Ahead and Store: You can prepare the stuffed jalapeños in advance and keep them refrigerated until ready to air fry. They’ll stay fresh for up to 3 days.

Customize with Extras: Feel free to experiment with additional ingredients like crumbled bacon, chopped cilantro, or a drizzle of hot sauce.

Reheat with Ease: Simply place the leftover poppers back in the air fryer at 400°F for 2-3 minutes to reheat and crisp them up.
