Description
This one-pot dish combines ground beef, turkey bacon, elbow macaroni, and a creamy cheese sauce for a comforting meal that is perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. In your trusty skillet, cook the ground beef and turkey bacon over medium-high heat until they’re beautifully browned. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
2. Once the meat is cooked, add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté these fragrant ingredients until they’re softened and fragrant.
3. Pour in the milk and beef broth, then stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 12-15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
4. Finally, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream until everything is deliciously creamy and combined.
5. Garnish your masterpiece with some chopped green onions and serve it up hot and ready to enjoy!
