Description

Loaded BBQ Bacon Ranch Meatball Subs are an irresistible sandwich that combines savory meatballs, smoky bacon, and creamy ranch dressing, all topped with melted cheese and served on soft toasted rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) Ground Beef (or ground turkey/plant-based substitute)
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce (your favorite type)
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing
  • 4 slices Turkey Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Sub Rolls or hoagie buns
  • Parsley Flakes for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, until cooked through and no longer pink.
  4. Toss the cooked meatballs in BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise and brush the insides with melted butter. Toast them in the oven for a few minutes until golden brown.
  6. Layer the meatballs on the bottom half of each sub roll. Drizzle ranch dressing over the meatballs, then sprinkle with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
  7. Return the assembled subs to the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with parsley flakes if desired and serve hot!

Notes

These Loaded BBQ Bacon Ranch Meatball Subs are best served fresh from the oven. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the subs in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes.
