Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
- 1 pound breakfast sausage or bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
2. Cut each refrigerated biscuit into quarters and layer half of the pieces in the bottom of the prepared Bundt pan.
3. Sprinkle half of the cooked sausage or bacon, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and half of the chopped green onions over the biscuit layer.
4. Add the remaining biscuit pieces on top, followed by the remaining sausage or bacon, cheese, and green onions.
5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until well combined.
6. Carefully pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients in the Bundt pan.
7. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Remove the pan from the oven and let the Breakfast Biscuit Bundt Cake cool for 5 minutes before inverting it onto a serving platter. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Thoroughly grease and flour the Bundt pan to prevent sticking and ease the release of the cake.
Keep a close eye on the baking time, as oven temperatures can vary. The cake is done when the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
For a crispy topping, broil the Bundt cake for 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time.
Serve the Breakfast Biscuit Bundt Cake warm, with a sprinkle of chopped green onions or a drizzle of maple syrup for an extra touch of flavor.
