Get ready to indulge in the ultimate party snack – Buffalo Chicken Bacon Loaded Mozzarella Bombs! These crispy, golden bites are packed with a flavor explosion of spicy buffalo chicken, melted mozzarella, and savory bacon.
Ingredients
- Ground chicken
- Buffalo sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Bacon
- Flour
- Eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Combine the ground chicken and buffalo sauce in a large bowl until evenly coated.
2. Take a small amount of the chicken mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon in the center, then wrap the chicken around the filling to form a ball.
3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip in egg, and coat in breadcrumbs.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the bombs in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with extra buffalo sauce for dipping.
Notes
You can assemble the mozzarella bombs up to 24 hours in advance and store them in the refrigerator.
For best results, bread them just before frying or baking. You can freeze the uncooked bombs for up to 3 months, adding extra cooking time if cooking from frozen.
