Description
Buffalo Chicken Dip is a classic party appetizer that combines the bold flavors of buffalo sauce with the creamy goodness of melted cheese. This crowd-pleasing dish is a surefire hit at any gathering, from game days to potlucks.
Ingredients
- 2 cup cooked, shredded chicken
- 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
3. Spread the Buffalo Chicken Dip mixture evenly into a baking dish.
4. Pop the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the cheese has melted.
5. Once the dip is out of the oven, sprinkle the sliced green onions on top (if using). Serve the warm Buffalo Chicken Dip immediately with celery sticks and tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
Use cooked, shredded chicken for the best texture. You can use rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken, or even canned chicken for convenience.
Adjust the amount of buffalo wing sauce to suit your spice preference. Start with 1/2 cup and add more if you want a spicier dip.
While ranch dressing is the classic choice, you can also use blue cheese dressing for a different flavor profile.
