Description

Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are a savory and satisfying dish made by stuffing crescent roll dough with a mixture of cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • Crescent roll dough: 1 can (8 oz)
  • Cooked chicken: 2 cups, shredded
  • Cream cheese: 4 oz, softened
  • Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Parsley: 1 tablespoon, chopped (fresh or dried)
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray: for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or cooking spray.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated and the filling is creamy and cohesive.

3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Spoon a portion of the chicken filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and working towards the narrow tip, to enclose the filling.

4. Place the filled and rolled Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Allow the Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

To reheat, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 5-7 minutes, or microwave for 30-60 seconds.
