Description

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

8 oz macaroni pasta

2 cups milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup salsa

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup crushed tortilla chips

Chopped cilantro for garnish


Instructions

1. Start by boiling the macaroni pasta until it’s al dente, then drain and set it aside.

2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once the beef is cooked through, add the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer the mixture until it thickens.

3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, the seasoned ground beef, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, and sour cream. Stir everything together until well blended and creamy.

4. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with crushed tortilla chips. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 15 minutes, or until the chips are golden and the cheese is bubbly.

5. Once baked, garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
