  • 2 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Italian-style loaf, sliced lengthwise
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Toss the chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Set the cooked chicken aside.

2. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a bowl, combine 3/4 cup melted butter, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 tablespoon parsley, and the red pepper flakes.

3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the bread halves. Place the bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes until golden.

4. In a saucepan, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the remaining minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Reduce the heat to low, then add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the sauce from the heat.

5. Spread half of the Alfredo sauce over the toasted bread. Top with the cooked chicken, shredded mozzarella cheese, and the remaining sauce.

6. Return the bread to the oven and bake for 5 minutes at 350°F until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
