Instructions

1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides. Let them sit for a minute.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the softened cream cheese and chicken broth, stirring continuously until creamy and smooth.

4. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken.
