This Creamy Cajun Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta is a satisfying and flavorful dish that combines the bold flavors of Cajun spices with a rich cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
12 oz bow tie pasta
1 lb chicken breast, sliced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bow tie pasta 8–10 min, drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet. Coat chicken with Cajun seasoning, sear 5–7 min until cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. Melt butter in same skillet. Add garlic and red pepper, sauté 2–3 min until softened.
4. Add heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer 5–7 min until thickened.
5. Return chicken and pasta to skillet, toss well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste; start with 1 tbsp and add more for spicier flavor.
Add sautéed shrimp or roasted veggies for extra protein or variation.
Store sauce and pasta separately to prevent sogginess if making ahead.
Garnish with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan before serving.
