Ingredients
- 12 ounce smoked sausage, sliced
- 16 ounce pasta
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 16 ounce tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Dried parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Brown Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Stir well to combine. Add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes to thicken.
4. Combine Pasta & Sausage: Add the drained pasta and the browned sausage back into the skillet with the sauce. Stir until everything is well coated and heated through.
5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with dried parsley. Serve immediately for a rich and comforting meal.
