Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.

2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

3. Incorporate the cold, cubed unsalted butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4. Gently stir in the buttermilk until the dough just comes together.

5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently.

6. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut out biscuits.
