Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with the irresistible Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites! This mouthwatering recipe combines the perfect balance of crunch, spice, and sweetness, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Vegetable oil (for frying)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

1. Start by patting the salmon cubes dry with paper towels.

2. Set up three separate bowls: one with the all-purpose flour, another with the beaten eggs, and a third with the panko breadcrumbs mixed with the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Dredge the salmon cubes in the flour, then dip them into the beaten eggs, and finally, coat them with the seasoned panko mixture.

4. In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it’s hot and shimmering.

5. Carefully add the breaded salmon bites to the hot oil and fry them in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they’re golden brown and crispy.

6. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until the sauce is smooth and well-combined.

7. Arrange the crispy Salmon Bites on a serving platter and drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the top, or serve the sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For the best texture and flavor, opt for fresh, high-quality salmon fillets.

The amount of sriracha in the Bang Bang sauce can be adjusted to your personal preference.

When frying, use a neutral-flavored oil with a high smoke point, such as vegetable, canola, or peanut oil.
