Description

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with these irresistible Crispy Chicken Bacon Cheese Stuffed Wonton Bombs! This flavor-packed appetizer combines juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, all wrapped in a crispy wonton shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. Begin by mixing the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until the flavors are well combined.

2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the chicken-bacon-cheese filling in the center.

3. Lightly wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing out any air pockets.

4. Pinch the edges to seal the wonton tightly and prevent any leaks during frying.

5. In a deep pan or Dutch oven, heat a generous amount of oil over medium heat.

6. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the wonton bombs in batches and fry them until they’re golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

7. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried wontons to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Notes

For those with dietary restrictions, swap chicken for sautéed mushrooms or diced tofu, bacon for prosciutto or turkey bacon, and cheddar for mozzarella or Monterey Jack.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

To reheat, place on a baking sheet in a 400°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
