Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of celery soup (optional)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (optional)
- 1 can (16.3 ounce) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients except the biscuit dough to the crockpot and stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
3. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
4. Cut biscuit dough into small pieces and drop on top of the mixture.
5. Cover and cook on high for an additional hour until dumplings are cooked through.
6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
