This festive and creamy Easter Dirt Cake Casserole is the perfect no-bake dessert to celebrate the holiday! Made with a crunchy Oreo crust, a rich, creamy pudding layer, and topped with fun Easter candy like PEEP bunnies and candy eggs, it’s the ultimate crowd-pleaser. It’s easy to make, deliciously sweet, and sure to be a hit at your Easter celebration or any springtime event!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13.29-ounce) package Oreos
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (16-ounce) container Cool Whip
  • 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant white chocolate, or vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Easter candy (PEEP bunnies, edible grass, candy Easter eggs)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo Crust:
Crush the Oreos in a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin until finely ground. Press the crushed Oreos into the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish to form the crust.

  2. Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until well combined.

  3. Prepare the Pudding Mixture:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until the pudding thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

  4. Combine the Mixtures:
Fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture until well combined. Then, fold in the cream cheese mixture until everything is smooth and creamy.

  5. Assemble the Casserole:
Spread the creamy mixture over the prepared Oreo crust in the casserole dish.

  6. Top with Easter Candy:
Decorate the top of the casserole with your favorite Easter candy, such as PEEP bunnies, edible grass, and candy Easter eggs.

  7. Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the Easter Dirt Cake Casserole for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a more festive look, feel free to add other Easter-themed candy like jelly beans or mini chocolate eggs.
  • Make sure to refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the layers set and the flavors meld together.
  • You can substitute vanilla pudding if you prefer a different flavor, but white chocolate gives it a unique richness.
