- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Pork Chops: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the Broth and Cream: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Incorporate the Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the Pork Chops: Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them. Let them simmer in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve with your favorite sides!
