1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk

1 teaspoon sugar (optional, balances acidity)

Instructions

Marinate Chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and oil. Coat chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Cook Chicken: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until charred and cooked through. Set aside.
