Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup apple cider
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper, then place them in a greased baking dish.
3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, garlic, honey, rosemary, butter, and apple cider. Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals until the butter is fully melted and the ingredients are well combined.
4. Spoon half of the sauce over the pork chops, then flip them and spoon the remaining sauce over the other side.
5. Bake the Herb-Infused Smothered Baked Pork Chops for 30 minutes, or until the pork is tender and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Notes
These pork chops pair beautifully with mashed potatoes, green beans, or an apple salad. The apple cider glaze also complements medium-bodied white wines like Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.
