Description

These Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Wings are the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with a crispy exterior and a sticky, flavorful glaze. A delightful dish for any occasion, whether it’s a family dinner or a party appetizer. Simple to make and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 50 chicken wings
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and black pepper to taste. Coat the wings lightly in all-purpose flour.
  • Cook the Chicken Wings: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken wings in batches and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine the honey, water, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then stir in cornstarch dissolved in water. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Coat the Wings: Return the cooked chicken wings to the skillet. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the wings to absorb the flavors.
  • Serve: Serve the Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Wings hot, garnished with extra sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, you can add more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the glaze.
  • To make the wings extra crispy, you can bake them at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes instead of frying them.
  • Adjust the amount of honey depending on how sweet you like your wings.
  • You can substitute the soy sauce with a gluten-free option if needed.
