Ingredients
- Ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- Cooked rice
- Honey
- Garlic
- Soy sauce
- Ginger
- Green onions
- Bell peppers
- Frozen peas
- Salt
- Pepper
- Breadcrumbs
- Egg
- Olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil (if using), pepper, and salt. Mix until incorporated.
3. Form small, evenly-sized meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through.
4. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, water, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer and stir until thickened.
5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, add uncooked rice, broth, olive oil or melted butter, diced bell peppers, and frozen peas. Stir to combine.
