  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create pockets.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Scoop the cheese filling into each chicken pocket, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Dip each stuffed chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the breaded chicken bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and bacon is crispy.
