- 4 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 fresh jalapeños, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 beaten egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create pockets.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Scoop the cheese filling into each chicken pocket, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
- Dip each stuffed chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded chicken bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and bacon is crispy.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of jalapeños.
