Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, beef broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
