Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon gochujang
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoon scallions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, ginger, green onions, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Season with salt and black pepper, and mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
3. Using your hands or a small scoop, shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
