Description
Maple Dijon Glazed Pork Tenderloin is a delectable dish that combines sweet and savory flavors, resulting in a tender, juicy centerpiece for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pound pork tenderloin
- 1/2 pound fresh green beans, tips trimmed
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 cup real maple syrup
Instructions
1. To craft the Maple Dijon glaze, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the Dijon mustard, soy sauce, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the glaze thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
2. Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a large baking sheet or roasting pan by lightly greasing it. Place the pork tenderloins on the prepared pan and season them with garlic salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika.
3. Roast the pork for 20-25 minutes, basting with the Maple Dijon glaze every 5-7 minutes. Monitor the internal temperature, removing the pork once it reaches 145°F. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve alongside roasted green beans and onions.
Notes
The Maple Dijon glaze can also be used as a marinade or basting sauce throughout the cooking process.
Leftover pork can be sliced for sandwiches or wraps, chopped for salads, or used in stir-fries or tacos.
