  • 4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cup pepperoncini juice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or line it with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.

2. Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker, arranging them in a single layer to ensure even cooking.

3. Pour the pepperoncini juice over the chicken, then sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the top.

4. Scatter the pieces of unsalted butter over the chicken, and arrange the pepperoncini peppers around and on top of the dish.

5. Cover the slow cooker and cook the chicken on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The chicken will become tender and shred easily when done.

6. Once cooking is complete, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. Toss the shredded chicken with the flavorful, buttery sauce.
