- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions

3. Pour in beef broth, honey, and diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
5. Stir in black beans and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
Notes
For best results, use lean ground beef (93% or 95% lean).
Rinse rice thoroughly before cooking to avoid clumps.
Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based meat for a leaner option.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
