Ingredients
- 1 pound high-quality ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Burger buns, toasted
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, dill pickles
Instructions
1. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form into loose balls.
2. Season the patties with salt and black pepper.
3. Heat a griddle or large skillet over high heat.
4. Place the beef balls on the surface and press down to smash into thin discs.
5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
6. Make the Baconnaise sauce by mixing mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and lemon juice in a bowl.
7. Spread Baconnaise sauce on the toasted buns, place the patties, and add optional toppings.
8. Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
