Ingredients
-
1 pound chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
-
½ cup sweet chili sauce
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon cornstarch
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 tablespoon minced garlic
-
1 teaspoon minced ginger
-
1 bell pepper (sliced)
-
1 cup broccoli florets
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
-
Green onions (sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
-
Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
-
Sauté Veggies: In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and broccoli. Cook until veggies are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
-
Combine: Add the cooked chicken back to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well to coat the chicken and vegetables. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
-
Garnish & Serve: Season with salt and pepper. Top with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve hot.
Notes
-
For a gluten-free version, use tamari sauce instead of soy sauce.
-
You can adjust the sweetness and spiciness by adding more or less sweet chili sauce.
-
If you prefer a crunchier texture, cook the chicken separately and add it at the end to maintain its crispiness.
