Instructions

  • Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  • Season the Beef: Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
  • Prepare the Nacho Base: Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  • Layer the Nachos: Evenly distribute the seasoned beef mixture over the tortilla chips. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
