Description

Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Mini Peppers are an exciting and savory twist on the traditional cheeseburger that offers all the flavors you love, packed into a delightful bite-sized package. These stuffed mini peppers not only bring together the irresistible combination of crispy bacon, juicy beef, and gooey cheese but also present a vibrant and visually appealing dish that’s perfect for family dinners or game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 mini sweet peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice your mini sweet peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon, leaving drippings, and set aside. In the same skillet, add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onions are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika into the beef mixture. Mix in crispy bacon pieces. Fill each halved mini pepper with the beef and bacon mixture and place in a lightly greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Choose firm and brightly colored mini sweet peppers for freshness.

Fill peppers just below the top for even cooking.

Adjust spice levels by adding chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
