Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
3. Pat the pork chops dry and rub them with olive oil. Generously sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides of the pork chops.
4. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and sear the pork chops for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned.
5. Stir in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Spoon some sauce over the pork chops.
6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8 to 12 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Bone-in chops tend to be more flavorful and juicier. Consider marinating the pork chops for added flavor.
