Description

Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is a comfort food masterpiece that brings together the classic flavors of a cheeseburger and the hearty satisfaction of a casserole.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen shoestring french fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon dehydrated onions

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.

3. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with a layer of frozen french fries, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until fries are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

5. While the bake is in the oven, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and dehydrated onions in a small bowl.

6. Once the Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is hot and ready, drizzle the burger sauce over the top or serve it on the side for dipping.

Notes

For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey for the beef.

Use gluten-free cream of mushroom soup and select a gluten-free frozen french fry brand for a gluten-free version.

Add diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.

Sprinkle crispy bacon bits on top for extra flavor.

Replace ground beef with sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions for a vegetarian version.
