Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 6 small flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon bacon bits or chopped cooked bacon
- Fresh black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. Combine ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
2. 2. Divide the chicken mixture into six equal portions and spread each portion onto one side of a tortilla.
3. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and place each tortilla chicken-side down into the pan. Cook undisturbed for 2-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the tortilla is browned. Flip and cook the other side for 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden and crisp.
4. 4. In a separate bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and grated Parmesan cheese.
5. 5. Assemble tacos by topping each cooked taco with the Caesar salad mixture and sprinkling bacon bits over the top. Serve immediately.
Notes
These tacos can be customized with different proteins or greens. Consider using ground turkey or corn tortillas for a gluten-free version.
