- 1 1/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 cup cooked jasmine or basmati rice
- 2 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 1/2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

1. Season the diced chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan or skillet and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually pour in milk, broth, or half-and-half, stirring constantly until smooth.
3. Once the sauce thickens, stir in Parmesan cheese, dried thyme or parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
4. To assemble, divide cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with seasoned chicken and spoon creamy garlic sauce over the top.
