Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Start by soaking your chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each tender in the flour mixture until well coated.
4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken tenders in a single layer.
6. Cook the chicken tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
7. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken tenders with honey BBQ sauce.
8. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and serve hot.
