Description

Crispy High-Protein Bacon Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are a delightful fusion of flavors and textures, perfect for busy weeknights or as a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. 1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into smaller pieces.

2. 2. In the same skillet, add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat and transfer to a mixing bowl.

3. 3. Add chopped bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and green onions to the beef. Stir until well combined.

4. 4. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon 2-3 tablespoon of filling onto the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the top edge with water.

5. 5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

6. 6. For frying, heat oil in a deep pot until hot. Fry spring rolls until golden brown. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy. For air frying, preheat air fryer to 375°F and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Notes

These spring rolls can be made in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to cook. Experiment with different cheeses or ground meats for variations.
