Ingredients

- 2 cup sliced strawberries

- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion (optional)
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries (optional)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 to 2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Wash the greens thoroughly under cold water and dry.
2. Slice the strawberries evenly after removing the green stems.
3. Crumble the feta or goat cheese by hand.
4. Toast the pecans or sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
5. Add optional ingredients like red onion and dried cranberries if desired.
6. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar or lemon juice, olive oil, honey or maple syrup, and Dijon mustard.
7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
