Ingredients
- 8 ounce linguine pasta
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 14 ounce crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. 1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the linguine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoon of butter. Add the thinly sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Sauté the beef for about 5 minutes, or until browned. Once cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside.
3. 3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoon of butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
4. 4. Pour in the can of crushed tomatoes and add the heavy cream. Stir well to combine and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
5. 5. Next, add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
6. 6. Return the cooked linguine and sautéed beef to the skillet. Toss everything together gently, ensuring all the pasta and beef are coated with the rich, creamy sauce.
7. 7. Serve your Garlic Butter Beef Linguine hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
