Ingredients
- 12 slider rolls
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- Fresh chives, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Slice the slider rolls in half carefully, keeping the tops and bottoms attached.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Crumble the bacon and set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
5. Scramble the egg mixture in the same skillet over medium heat until just set.
6. On the bottom halves of the sliced slider rolls, layer scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
7. Mix melted butter with Dijon mustard and drizzle over the top halves of the slider rolls.
8. Bake the assembled sliders in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
9. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped chives, and serve warm.
Notes
For a veggie twist, substitute bacon with sautéed spinach and feta cheese.
Add sliced jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
