Description

Loaded Bacon Ranch Beef & Potato Casserole is a delectable dish that combines savory ground beef, tender potatoes, and crispy bacon with creamy ranch dressing, making it an irresistible choice for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, roughly 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, add the cooked beef, diced potatoes, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, sour cream, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

4. 4. Move the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

5. 5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.

6. 6. After 40 minutes, remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. 7. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For efficiency, you can brown the meat ahead of time or prepare the mixture the night before and refrigerate it until you’re ready to bake.
