Ingredients
- 2 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cup frozen hash browns
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. 2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
3. 3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with frozen hash browns, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well coated.
4. 4. Spread half of the beef mixture in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top, followed by the remaining beef mixture. Finish with the remaining cheese.
5. 5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for added flavor and presentation.
