Ingredients
- 1 bag (30 ounce) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
3. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well-mixed.
4. Spread the hashbrown mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until thoroughly combined.
6. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and the crumbled bacon into the egg mixture.
7. Carefully pour the egg mixture evenly over the layer of hashbrowns.
8. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
9. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
10. Once baked, remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and garnish with chopped green onions and a dollop of sour cream.
