Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon is a delightful combination of savory, smoky, and creamy flavors that come together in perfect harmony. These juicy pork chops are stuffed with a delectable filling of smoked Gouda cheese and crispy bacon, then seasoned to perfection and baked to golden-brown perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 ounce smoked Gouda cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. Carefully cut a pocket into the side of each pork chop.

3. Stuff each pocket with a slice of smoked Gouda cheese and a slice of cooked bacon.

4. Rub the pork chops with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

7. Remove from the oven and set aside. In the same pan, add chicken broth and butter, stirring to create a pan sauce.

8. Serve the pork chops with the pan sauce drizzled over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

These pork chops pair wonderfully with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad.
