Description

The Best Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip is the perfect dish for any occasion, whether you’re hosting a game day gathering, throwing a party, or simply enjoying a relaxed family night in. This crowd-pleasing dip brings all the rich flavors of traditional enchiladas into a creamy, cheesy delight that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 can (10 ounce) enchilada sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients: shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, enchilada sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and chili powder. Mix them together thoroughly until smooth and well-blended.

3. Transfer the cheesy chicken mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly to cover the bottom of the dish.

4. Place the dish in your preheated oven and let it cook for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

5. After baking, let it sit for a couple of minutes. Optionally, sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve hot with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. For a spicy kick, use pepper jack cheese instead of Monterey Jack. Adding diced vegetables like bell peppers or spinach can boost nutritional content without compromising flavor.
