Ingredients
- 2 cup shredded cooked chicken
- 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup diced green chiles
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, and diced green chiles. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly combined.
3. Spoon the mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
5. Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro if desired and serve warm with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.
Notes
You can prepare the dip the day before and store it in the refrigerator. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time when ready to serve.
