The Ultimate Game Day Cheesy Beef Taco Dip is a cheesy, savory dip that combines ground beef, creamy cheeses, and zesty salsa, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn, drained
- 1 jalapeño, diced (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- Tortilla chips (for serving)
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it’s fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the taco seasoning to the cooked beef and stir until well combined.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, black beans, corn, and jalapeño (if using). Mix thoroughly.
4. Gently fold the seasoned beef into the creamy mixture until fully incorporated.
5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
6. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
For make-ahead preparation, assemble the dip in a baking dish and refrigerate until ready to bake. A slow cooker can also be used to keep the dip warm throughout the game.
